
At least one person has been injured after a shooting at the gates of the National Security Agency in Fort Meade, Maryland, according to a report from the Associated Press.
The details of the shooting, which unfolded this morning, are still unclear, but aerial footage showed a black SUV with airbags deployed, apparently after crashing into concrete barriers. A law enforcement dog could be seen searching the car, and one person was reportedly led away in handcuffs.
The NSA said in a tweet that “the situation is under control and there’s no ongoing security or safety threat.” The agency has not responded to a request for more information.
